Together with Martin Bittner, Marcus Oppitz SolveDirect co-founded the company in 2000. As Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director, he is responsible for the product strategy and development of SolveDirect software architecture, which has received several awards by independent institutes. With his vision Marcus Oppitz established SolveDirect as a pioneer in cloud-based IT Service Management Integration. Marcus constantly develops new innovative approaches to make the B2B Integration between business partners and the enterprises they serve even easier.

Marcus Oppitz draws his extensive knowledge in the development of business applications and over 20 years of high tech and software experience. Prior to founding SolveDirect he was Managing Director and Partner of the MC-Software GmbH. In this position, Marcus Oppitz was responsible for numerous software development projects, such as for applications in POS environments, for merchandise management and ticketing systems. After the merger of MC-Software GmbH with i-online AG, Marcus Oppitz was in charge of the software development for five divisions and restructured the support processes for 1,200 i-online customers.
Marcus Oppitz is also the founder and director of the WIFI computer science seminar. He studied computer science at the University of Vienna.
