Martin Bittner is one of the co-founders of SolveDirect. As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director, he is responsible for strategic oversight of customers and partners, and the expansion of the company. This includes the development of financial plans and the establishment of strategic technology partnerships. SolveDirects geographical expansion is also driven by Martin Bittner - in 2010, he established a SolveDirect subsidiary in Silicon Valley for the U.S. market.
"SolveDirect was founded with the goal of making processes more efficient and enabling a transparent relationship between IT service providers and service customers. These goals are achieved through advanced automation and smart integration of services. The increasing demand for our solutions shows that SolveDirect closes a gap. The cloud computing market is growing rapidly by 43% per year according to Gartner. Today more than 220 companies and large enterprises in 68 countries are connected to the global SolveDirect IT Service Management Platform. We will be launching a new Easy 4 Business solution to help companies of all sizes collaborate for end-to-end service delivery", explains Martin Bittner.
In managing SolveDirect, Martin Bittner draws on his extensive international contact network, established during his long career at IBM Austria. Before Martin Bittner founded SolveDirect together with Marcus Oppitz in the summer 2000, he was Sales Manager of IBM Global Services. Previously Martin held other management positions within IBM, including user support, personnel management and service marketing.
