S&T Group is counting on modern technology and best practice in service management for their customers: SolveDirect CUBE for an efficient integration of all processes and systems on the SolveDirect platform. S&T has the vision to use one application for all S&T countries for an optimized support of the aligned service processes. Thereby cost savings and increased efficiency can be accomplished and the IT support can be enhanced., refers Markus Bonner, Group IT Manager, S&T.
There is a long way to go to realise this vision. Many steps are already displayed in the system:
The adoption of the function volume for the group wide reporting as well as a consistent global-customers reporting is carried out. The workflow standard is defined and under final tuning and support as well as competence centre are in operation. The SolveDirect competence centre within S&T is taking care of standardisation, rollout and support. Integration with ERP is already completed and some countries are already using SolveDirect: Austria (partial), Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.
The benefits for the service business especially lie in three fields:
Cost savings can be realized e.g. through the adaptation of standard workflows and possible system and partner integration. Besides extensive reporting enables a better control and increase efficiency. Moreover additional business opportunities can be generated in two ways. On one hand there is the possibility to sell SolveDirect solutions by ourselves with the support of the internal SolveDirect competence centre. On the other hand even difficult bidding requests can be fulfilled due to extensive functionalities like ITIL compliancy or integration of different internal and external systems and partners.
